"You are worthless!" Hissed the devil in my ear. I was paralyzed. I couldn't move. I clutched the sheets underneath of me to try to grasp at some kind of reality. I stared into the darkness around me. Was this sleep paralysis that I have heard so much about? I'm awake but can't move and I'm also terrified. I keep hearing this snake whispering in my ear and I am forced to listen.
"You are nothing, little girl!" I swore I heard a laugh bounce off the walls in my bedroom. "You are nothing and never will amount to anything." I closed my eyes and tears started to break the dam.
A little curiosity never killed anyone, right? I thought to myself as I watched him from across the room. They say curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back. I guess that just means I need to be satisfied. I smirked as that thought crossed my mind and I ducked my head so if he looked over, he wouldn't see me blushing like an idiot. My own mind would get me into so much trouble one of these days, I was kind of looking forward to it. I just want him so bad!
"What do I have to live for?" You scream as you stand on that ledge.
Is this what you thought your friends meant when they told you get out from under that rock and live your life on the edge?
I know you think this is your only option and that this is the end for you.
You keep thinking that you are completely alone and you insist no one knows what you are going through.
When I was coming out of my space shuttle, the alien outside spoke some language I have never heard before. Now, after begging for it not to kill me, it spoke something that sounded Russian. "Wh-what?" I hated that my voice was shaking.
"I said I am not going to hurt you." It was at that moment that I realized this alien was a woman. Her voice was high pitch and sounded like it had an echo. It sounded almost...angelic. My eyes quickly scanned her body. Defiantly a female. She had long black hair that reached the small of her back, her eyes were golden, there were two small antennas on her forehead and I wondered that they were for. She was about a foot shorter than me which would make her 5'2. Her structure was similar to a woman's figure on Earth. The expression on her face was odd. She looked curious and determined rather than scared. However, I could have sworn she sounded scared when she was speaking before she saw me.

There was once a a fallen angel and a sunbeam that lived in their own world together. The sunbeam met the fallen angel and taught her how to fly again. He showed her how to smile again. The fallen angel showed the sunbeam what it was like to be truly loved. She taught him that it was okay to shine.
The Angel and the Sunshine we're their happiest when they were together. Life was perfect and no one was going to try to tell them otherwise.
Except things change apparently.
I sat downstairs and cringed as I heard An'ie continuously yell and pound on Dita's bedroom door demanding an answer but it never came. "Give it a rest, An'ie!" I yelled hoping she could hear me over all the noise of her own that she was making. "She probably snuck out the window again. You're making a racket for nothing." The yelling and pounding stopped. I breathed a heavy, thankful sigh.
"She'll have to come back home eventually." An'ie said quietly as she walked down the stairs and into the living room.
