When I was coming out of my space shuttle, the alien outside spoke some language I have never heard before. Now, after begging for it not to kill me, it spoke something that sounded Russian. "Wh-what?" I hated that my voice was shaking.
"I said I am not going to hurt you." It was at that moment that I realized this alien was a woman. Her voice was high pitch and sounded like it had an echo. It sounded almost...angelic. My eyes quickly scanned her body. Defiantly a female. She had long black hair that reached the small of her back, her eyes were golden, there were two small antennas on her forehead and I wondered that they were for. She was about a foot shorter than me which would make her 5'2. Her structure was similar to a woman's figure on Earth. The expression on her face was odd. She looked curious and determined rather than scared. However, I could have sworn she sounded scared when she was speaking before she saw me.

There was once a a fallen angel and a sunbeam that lived in their own world together. The sunbeam met the fallen angel and taught her how to fly again. He showed her how to smile again. The fallen angel showed the sunbeam what it was like to be truly loved. She taught him that it was okay to shine.
The Angel and the Sunshine we're their happiest when they were together. Life was perfect and no one was going to try to tell them otherwise.
Except things change apparently.
I sat downstairs and cringed as I heard An'ie continuously yell and pound on Dita's bedroom door demanding an answer but it never came. "Give it a rest, An'ie!" I yelled hoping she could hear me over all the noise of her own that she was making. "She probably snuck out the window again. You're making a racket for nothing." The yelling and pounding stopped. I breathed a heavy, thankful sigh.
"She'll have to come back home eventually." An'ie said quietly as she walked down the stairs and into the living room.

"Dita, open this door right now!" My mother's voice echoed over the loud pounding on the outside of my door. "Dita? Dita!"
I chose to ignore her and continued climbing out my bedroom window and down the fire escape. I was so sick of her nagging and strict rules. I just needed to get away for a while. My feet hit the ground hard and kicked up some red dust around me as I jumped off the last rung of the ladder. I ran fast away from that house before my mother caught on to the fact that I was gone. There was a part of the planet that I loved to go to just to be alone with my thoughts. It was the part of Mars that the sun didn't reach. It was a lot colder there and no one has resided there for eons. No plant or Martian can live in that area of the Mars because it is so cold and dark. I never stay there long. Just long enough to clear my head.
"Dita!" I ran after my head strong 17-year-old daughter who refused to hear me at all. "Dita I am commanding you as your mother and your ruler to get back here at once!" I regretted saying that but I wasn't going to admit it. It made her stop in her tracks and start walking back towards me. I needed to be strict with her.
"Yes? 'Ruler'?" That word dragged off her tongue and was filled with so much venom it stung.
"Dita, you have to start taking on the responsibilities of being the leader. You don't have a choice. Stop running away from this. If we want this land to keep running in the proper order it has been running in for the past centuries we all must work together and accept the responsibilities given to us."
As I sit at my desk writing, the front door is wide open only a couple of feet away from me. I have the glass down and the screen up on the storm door so I can get some fresh air in the house since it's been raining a lot for a few weeks now and is now so damp and mucky.
It is very windy outside today.
